Integral Arts Everett is proud to present the First Annual Everett Community Art Walk!

During the month of October, they cordially invite you to explore local businesses, connect with local art and artists, and engage with the community.

The Everett Community Art Walk is a temporary art exhibit which will be on display throughout local businesses across Everett. This exhibit will be free and open to the public.

Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo

Kiwanis Club 5K Walk for Ersilia on Sept. 28 at Glendale Park

The Kiwanis Club of Everett, in collaboration with the City of Everett and the Cataldo family, is conducting a 1st Annual 5K Walk for Ersilia on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Glendale Park, Everett, in honor of our beloved former member and Vice President, the late Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo. Our aim is to raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence and the severe destruction it produces, especially for women and families. All proceeds from the Walk will be given directly to the Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo Memorial Fund by Everett Kiwanis, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Cruise in a Canoe with Friends of the Malden River

The Malden River, which runs along the City of Everett, is safe for boating and all are welcome to get out on the water with Friends of the Malden River and Paddle Boston! No canoe experience is required and event is free. Anyone under the age 18 may participate with an accompanying parent or guardian.

A group for new moms
A free series for first-time moms and moms-to-be.
Each week community experts will present special topics, such as:
• the many challenges of motherhood 
• understanding your developing child 
• your pediatrician – your friend
• how to keep your child safe 
• developing a balanced life

Big Sister Boston is invested in Everett

Big Sister Boston is 100% invested in girls. We proudly serve nearly 5,000 women and girls throughout Greater Boston each year through our one-to-one mentoring and enrichment programs. Last year, we served 110 girls in the Everett, Chelsea, Lynn, and Revere communities. In 2019, Big Sister Boston launched a partnership with Encore Boston Harbor to increase our presence in Everett and our impact on all the women and girls we support through mentoring relationships.

Scholar Athletes

Scholar Athletes Returns

When Everett High School begins classes on September 4th, Scholar Athletes (SA) will welcome hundreds of new and returning Zone members back into the Zone, a unique learning space designed to help athletes and aspiring athletes achieve academic and athletic goals. Activities such as We Are Fit (pictured) will offer health & wellness programming and academic support that is open to all Everett High School students. Last year, the Zone was home to more than 200 youth, and SA program staff expect to engage even more Zone members this year!
